The idea
Side Quests is a place for the things discovered while going somewhere else: a historic site between the airport and the hotel, an overlook worth the extra miles, a photograph that required pulling over, or a story that made a place suddenly more interesting.
Short observations from the road, written close enough to the experience that the details are still fresh.
Images are part of the story rather than decoration added afterward.
When a detour raises a question, the story can follow the evidence a little farther.
